Workshop at the Universidad del Rosario, Colombia

On April 13, Daniel Canosa Suarez, one of the Institute’s Fellows, conducted a workshop in Colombia at the Universidad del Rosario, located in the city of Bogotá, with undergraduate students from the university’s social sciences programs who are part of an international negotiations class.

The workshop addressed the origins and evolution of discrimination towards the Jewish people and the creation of the State of Israel, and discussed the regional conflicts and negotiations that have taken place among Israel and its neighbors to the present day.

The workshop acknowledged dialogue as a source of enrichment and promoted the joint construction of knowledge through dialogue and the participation of students, who gained a deeper understanding of the history of Israel and antisemitism while strengthening their knowledge of peace negotiations in the context of the Middle East.
